Frequently asked questions

Does the member app come with my gym's branding?

Every plan includes the Gymsoftware member app, where members see your gym's name, logo and colours. A fully branded app listed under your own name on the App Store and Google Play is available on the Multi-outlet plan.

Can members freeze their membership?

Yes. You decide the freeze rules: minimum and maximum length, how many freezes are allowed each year, any freeze fee, and whether members can request a freeze in the app or only through the front desk. Billing pauses automatically and resumes on the end date.

Which access control hardware works with Gymsoftware?

Gymsoftware supports QR code check-in on any tablet or phone, and integrates with common RFID card readers, turnstiles and door controllers used in 24-hour gyms. Send us your current hardware model and we will confirm compatibility before you sign up.

Does Gymsoftware integrate with accounting software?

Yes. Invoices, payments and refunds can be exported to Xero and QuickBooks Online, or downloaded as CSV for your accountant. GST is shown as a separate line so your quarterly GST F5 return is easier to prepare.
